God has given everyone gifts that can be used to love others. Can you remember a time that someone made you feel loved or cared for? What gifts do you think they had and used in that moment?
What are some lists you see in yourself and your family members? You might notice someone is skilled at fixing things, a good cook, or great at tidying up. Make a list of gifts that you see in yourself and in your family, big and small. Together, talk about how they can be used to serve others – then make a commitment to serve someone today!
Pray: God, thank you for sending Jesus as an example of love. Thank you for the unique gifts that we have been given. Help us use those gifts to serve each other and to serve others. We love you. Amen.
