You’ve probably heard the phrase “actions speak louder than words”. That phrase has so much truth in it!
Jesus mastered this during his time on earth. He had opportunities to speak to crowds, and to individuals. Everything he said was valuable and important, but he always followed up with action. Jesus’ love wasn’t just easy to hear, it was easy to see.
While it’s important to tell people in our lives that we love and care about them, we can’t stop there. They should see how much we love them through our actions.
What’s one thing you can do today to make someone feel loved? It doesn’t need to be a huge gesture. In fact, sometimes the smallest acts make the biggest difference. Check out some of these simple ways to serve as a family and choose one to do together in the next week!
Pray: Dear God, thank you for the opportunity to love and serve the people that you have put in our lives. Help us make our love easy to see. Give us the courage and energy to serve together so that more people can see your love through us. We want people to know you. We love you. Amen.
