Parents: Write “Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable.” on a piece of paper. Place the paper inside an Easter egg and hide it for your kids to find.
Kids: Look for the third Easter egg!
Together: Read about the wonderful sacrifice of Jesus in Philippians 4:4-8! Make sure your kids listen for the words that were hidden in the egg as you read. Jesus led a selfless life and God promised wonderful things! The Bible reminds us to think about and do good things just as Jesus did. It also tells us to look out for the good of others. Sometimes it can be hard to think of others. We can pray to God and ask him to help us put others first! Ask each other, how can we look out for others at school, work, or home? Plan to gather the family together and share something each of you did to put others first that day.
