Humans have an innate desire for community. God knew this, and he created a place where we can belong – in his own family.
In this life, you probably think of yourself as a resident of your town or state, or a citizen of your country. You also have citizenship in God’s country – Heaven. In Heaven, you are welcomed and accepted as one of God’s own.
Even if you struggle to find a place where you feel like you belong here on earth, you will always belong with God. A church community is a great place to experience the belonging of God’s family. If you aren’t already part of a church, today is a great day to learn about the churches around you.
